Transferware

When you can get a set of 20 Staffordshire plates for 24 dollars, why wouldn't you have your morning toast off of stunning transferware? Ebay is the best place to find transferware at a reasonable price.  Before Ebay, a person would have to go hunting from one antique store to the next to find a set for their good china, but today transferware can be collected rather easily that you can easily make it your every day ware.  Mix and match your patterns to make it more interesting.  Set your table with several different transferware patterns in the same color.   If you do use your transferware for daily use, be sure to protect the glaze by hand washing your dishes.  Avoid serving any foods that have a natural stain,  and do not use knives on your transferware.   At only a couple dollars per plate, you might as well eat in style~ (Read More.....)
