Purple Transferware

Keith Scott Morton GreenPurplePurple transferware can come in a hue of shades from a blush rose to a pink through to a lavender to deep wine. Many collectors refer to purple transferware as “mulberry,” the color is known as purple. For a lighter shabby chic look, to a English green formal cigar room, the color purple can be that extra punch you are looking for.

You may be thinking why would you ever put English green walls with purple? In fact, they are the perfect combination.  Below, I included a color wheel (from realcolorwheel.com) to illustrate some of the color choices you can work with. Generally if your transferware is Purple, the colors opposite on the color wheel will work in your interior decor. OR, you can use the neighbour colors to the left or the right of the color wheel. It is the perfect cheat sheet to great interior design.
